  We were made to feel very welcome. It was all so genuine, there wasnever any feeling of the owners faking their smiles etc. - rooms where great, We loved the place, they could not do enough for us....we will be back .

  Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! - This is really a home away... wat mensen zeggen » from home with a lovely spacious bedroom, comfortable sitting room and elegant dining room all at the disposal of guests. The hosts were the best we have met in our year of travelling and our fellow guests were extremely pleasant to spend time with. A most enjoyable experience.

  Quiet and friendly Hotel great staff, and on leaving before breakfast had started the young man on reception (sorry but cannot remember his name) but it was on the morning of Sat 13 th July 2013 he had a coffee and a bacon roll ready for me to take away , Now that is what you call service and that is why i would recommend The Drumoig to anyone. ea... wat mensen zeggen » sy parking so for a short drive out of ST Andrews why have all the stress of parking in town, Its a No Brainer for me. G. Mc Allister. - The ambience, location and surrounding landscape were very good. The room was generous in size, clean and well furnished, albeit, the upholstery was threadbare. The b/fast and lunch were of a very high standard as was the service by staff. The weather did help. Should like to return for a slightly longer stay.. Our son and his joined us to celebrate my wife's birthday and they seem to have enjoyed their stay.

  Stayed along with other members of family. Karen, the owner + host, whose attention to detail was exceptional, couldn't have been more helpful. The house itself was spotless, cosy + warm (weather was very cold). Breakfast was varied + substantial + hot food freshly cooked to our liking. Lovely countryside location but close to St. Andrews also. - The person we met with to check-in was very friendly and explained everything well. The room was very tidy and the bathroom in particular was of a very high order, it looked new with a new powerful shower unit. The beds were also comfortable, and there was little-no road noise or other noise.

  mooi klassiek huis met mooie inrichting - We were met on arrival by James who was an exceptionally nice young man. He made our short stay run very smoothly.The room was very clean and well set out and cleaned each morning. Breakfast was very good qualty with more than enough to eat and a great choice. The drawing room was a very nice place to relax... wat mensen zeggen » and read etc at the end of the day.All in all a very good experience.Great value for money - The house is in a lovely position on a quiet green farm. There are nice gardens and beautiful views from the windows. The family running it was helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were some of the best we had in Scotland.
