  A new Hotel, excellent location for our needs, a short walk to Aldgate East tube, the staff so friendly and helpful. We took a short taxi ride to Tower Pier and went on the Thames from Tower Bridge to Westminster. We loved Selfridges and had salty beef sandwiches at 'The Brass Rail Cafe' there. - Warm welcome, friendly staff, lovely twin room wit... wat mensen zeggen » h iron and ironing board :) comfy beds and very clean.   The quirkiness; if you don't like quirky then don't stay here! The staff were young, helpful and keen to make our stay a pleasant one. We chose a room without a window which was fine for 1 night. The hand made bed was awesome (spend money on your bed and shoes as if you're not in one you're in the other). The choice of lighting in the room was ... wat mensen zeggen » good also. The "rain" shower was very pleasant too. The reception area was well structured with seating and lighting and we spent a few hours there - - Friendly and helpful staff - Free breakfast bag (juice, apple and a bar) hanging on your door every morning - Clean room with a very comfy bed and a nice rain shower: what more do u need? - Close to tube & vibrant/multicultural/trendy Brick Lane with all its different shops/restaurants/bars/markets.   First of all I'd like to thank the staff of the hotel, they're extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are very good taste designed, comfortable with everything you may need. Despite having windows on the road side I had not noise inside the room, everything there is for good rest. I' - I booked Hotel Indigo for my husband's 30th birthday and it really was ideal. We had hoped for a relaxing city break and that is what we got. The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful and offered us a complimentary glass of wine and a turn-down service because it was hubby's birthday, which was lovely.   Stayed here for 1 night with my partner, we were attending a function close by so location was excellent. we arrived half a hour early but the gentleman on reception was very helpful and rather than make us wait while our room was been cleaned, he changed our room so we could check in early. although the room wasn't huge, there was plenty of room ... wat mensen zeggen » for 2 people and as the hotel was fairly new all the facilities were up to an excellent standard. I would definitely use this hotel again, it was even - Great position, Shoreditch is full of pubs, clubs and restaurants and very close to the City! Old street underground station is 5-10 minutes on foot; next to the hotel there is the bus stop (buses to the Tower of London, Oxford Circus and Waterloo). Hotel clean and new. "Mediterranean" breakfast. Staff very gently.

  Great staff! Very friendly and professional. Hotel is modern and stylish with a touch of elegance. An extra plus was the comfortable bathroom. Top quality overall, I will definitely book this hotel again (been in London 20+ times, this Hotel is the best I stayed in so far). Leadenhall Market, Brick Lane and Old Spitalfield Market along with lots of pubs and restaurants are also just a few minutes away. - The Andaz is stylish but relaxed and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff are great, nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly cean in a areas. We were upgraded and a little birthday cake awaited us in our room for my husband's birthday. Requests were dealt with immediately and we even got a tour of the hotel as we were interested in the history and architecture. The location is ideal. Well done Andaz for making our stay so enjoyable.

  I used the hotel as a get away from my own apartment in shoreditch where my son was having a party. I was delighted that the special offer was on for 79 pounds otherwise staying wouldn't have been possible to do. I liked my room - I did visit the holiday express where a friend was staying - at the Hoxton rooms were waaaay nicer. Wished I'd been able to try the restaurants - perhaps I - We like the location being close by to the Old Street tube station and a cab ride away to King's Cross and St Pancras stations.
