  The hotel was spotless, staff very attentive and polite. Food was also of a high standard in the blue boar restaurant. We went for my 50th birthday and they upgraded the room and also laid on complimentary fruit, chocolates and a bottle of champagne. Much appreciated and went down well.   I really liked everything. The staff from the first contact with the doorman to the receptionist and the waiters not forgetting room service were all excellent.
