  Very friendly staff. Also accommodated us when our flight arrived early and gave us a spare room till such time as our room was ready. Clean and neat rooms, very centrally located and next to a underground station with a shopping centre within walking distance and a good deli shop next door.   Although I was traveling alone, I booked a large studio for 2 nights. I dropped my suitcase at the reception in the morning as there were no free rooms at that time yet and did the check-in later in the afternoon. Cartwright Garden studios are very conveniently located, within a 5-minute walk to King's Cross and St Pancras Inter - Perfect location. 5 mins walk from St. Pancreas station. Very safe area. Even though our budget studio was small, around 110 sq ft, we were most impressed that the hotel managed to fit a frig, stove top, an oven, sink, microwave, a small wall hung vaccum and even a separate small freezer on just one side. Lots of storage space as well in such a small room. The hotel has put a lot of thought to maximize the usage of every inch of the room! We stayed in room #1, seemed just newly renovated since

  My initial expecations of a high standard were reassured by the exterior of the building , then the welcome of the manager who was informative and helpful .I requested a quiet apartment and was not disappointed . The apartment was ideal for a sole traveller ; high spec end of units and appliances and well thought out us of space to suit my indepen... wat mensen zeggen » dent nature and need for freedom , not the restraint of hotel timetables . Great location . I will stay there again . - excellent to have a small apartment instead of a hotel room, very good value for money. Has everything one needs in an apartment, even for a few days (kitchenette, fridge, crockery, cutlery). Nice modern and decoration, very comfortable. Modern flat screen TV and even an iPod docking station! I would go here again for a short city trip in London. Easy walk from Russell Square and to British Museum, Univ of London. Just opposite Charles Dickens House.
