  Choosing accommodation in a city that you are unfamiliar with is always hard. We chose well as this hotel is brilliantly located in the "old " city right off the Royal Mile. Everything is within walking distance and the rooms are a great size with all amenities. This apartment hotel is reasonably priced and is brilliantly locate - Wow- fantastic hotel. We got it for a really good price through letsbookhotel.com and our stay was perfect. The staff were brilliant and so attentive allowing us to check in early and assigning us to a fab room. The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers. We also had a massage each in the spa centre which was fantastic. The location is more than you could ask for- everything on the doorstep!! Would defini

  The hotel building was very impressive, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was superb and the food was excellent. Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend. We only stayed two nights and didn't have time to use the spa/pool but it looked really nice. You can ... wat mensen zeggen » do it all from this lovely hotel - see the sights, do the shopping and relax - we'll be back very soon! - Very beautiful hotel in perfect location at the end of Princess Street and not far from Calton Hill. Ideal for romantic walkings around the top Edinburgh attractions. We spent there lovely 3 nights during Easter, everything was good, staff very polite and helpful. Beautiful room with all the expected facilities. I would recommend to everybody.

  I'm on gluten free diet - had no problems whatsoever. The chef even amended the Valentine's Day menu in the Grill Room. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. The rooftop hyropool was wonderful. - The upgrade to our room was very comfortable and appreciated. The staff were all very helpfull and friendly.

  This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. It was a pleasure the rooms are not modern although they do have the touches like the plasma tv and modern bathroom. Overall I would not change anything about the hotel it was perfect.   Zeer persoonlijke, vriendelijke en dienstverlenende benadering. Het hotel heeft een 'concierge' die je helpt met alle vragen, adviseert bij de keuze voor goede restaurants en bars en excursies, zelfs de menu's van diverse restaurants in de stad paraat heeft en desgevraagd voor je reserveert en de route wijst. Nog nooit zo'n goede service meegemaakt... wat mensen zeggen » . - Goed gelegen hotel met ouder en nieuw gedeelte. Wij kregen in dat nieuwe deel een prachtige kamer. Mogelijkheid tot (betaald) parkeren van auto in de kelder van hotel.
