  Friendly reception staff. We stayed in triple room which although was quite compact, was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Adequate supply of drinks. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Fruit juice, cereals and toast. Hot food consists of eggs, beans and mushrooms, no meat. The hotel is on a quiet part of the road and a good selection of restaurants are only a stroll away. P - The location was great since it was near the Baker tube station. The hotel was spotless, very well maintained, and modern. We had a triple room since my husband and I took my mother for her birthday and it was a little small but very doable since the room had adequate storage. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast was included. Staff was very friendly. They checked our card at night when we entered to make sure we were guests.

  Excellent room with everything that a business traveler would need. Huge bed and luxury bedding and pillows. Polite staff and attentive to needs. Great location for business in London; easy for tube to anywhere (from Barbican, five minutes walk away). The location suited my plans and public transport was easily accessible for wandering into the city centre. Very comfortable and modern rooms.   The Hotel itself was beautiful and had a very nice cosmopolitan feel to it. The room was extremely comfortable and I enjoyed being able to pop outside into the courtyard. The people couldn't possibly have been nicer and made me feel welcome the second I walked in the door. These personal touches make all the difference, particularly in London (... wat mensen zeggen » where you don't often get that). Location second to none. - The rooms were both lovely but the best thng about the hotel was the staff they were friendly and so helpful they really made our stay comfortable nothing was too much trouble. We left a couple of personal items behind and Sergei located them though house keeping and mailed them on to us. We had cockatails in the bar after dinner out and they were superb and the atmosphere was great.

  We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.... wat mensen zeggen » There were some nice places to eat near by - cooked breakfast for under a £5 in London! and a great food stall just up the road that serves homemade, - Especially friendly and helpful staff in total, but these 3 persons need an award: the very friendly mechanic who repaired the sink stop in a couple of minutes, the manager of the restaurant on 23.04./24.04.name: Iliantor ? the manager at the reception : Salem the location is fantastic, Globe,Tates, OXO,Thames cruises, tube, all in very short walking distance, was perfect for us! quiet room, nice design very delicious English breakfast in total: we will come again and also recommend this hotel
