  The staff were very friendly & welcoming. It was extremely clean with clean towels every day & plenty of tea/coffee/milk provided. It proved to be a convenient position for gaining access to central London fairly quickly & I would definitely use this hotel again when visiting my daughter in Tower Hamlet. - Very nice and helpful staff ... wat mensen zeggen » - clean and tidy - great location for buses and tubes - excellent continental breakfast - extremely quiet - good atmosphere - two very friendly pubs within 2 minutes - buses to the bustling Islington/Angel every five minutes.

  We enjoyed our stay very much at Hotel Makedonia! Room was very clean & nicely decorated.. Just like the photos on their website. We greatly appreciated the fruit basket, bottled water & teas/kettle that were provided in our room. The shower had excellent water pressure & towels were nice & fluffy. Staff was extremely helpful with directions & offered us a room on a lower floor due to the amount of he - The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The first room we got was leaning a bit and sensitive as we are we asked for another room and the staff helped us with everything and we got a superb room right away instead :) Big and spacy rooms with wooden floors instead of a carpet! The breakfast was excellent and pretty much everything you want they had and more as well. Nice area close to supermarkets and very close to the underground station. Around 3-5 min walk.   The Apartment was surprisingly spacious with 2 double rooms and two sofa beds in the lounge/ kitchen diner, the beds themselves were quite comfortable , the location was excellent being close to Arsenal station meaning easy access to the city centre. We really loved the apartment for the 2 days we stayed there and am considering staying there agai... wat mensen zeggen » n in the next few weeks. - Easy to pick up keys, transport to flat was quick, flat was clean and spacious enough for a short stay, beds were comfy, plenty of bedding, towels and toiletries, it's only a few minutes walk to the nearest tube station and there is a Tesco Express just across the road, and generally good value for money.
