  We searched long and hard online to find a good, affordable hotel in central London. This one is it (along with the Nadler, a few streets east). Our room was much larger than expected and very modern.   I read a few negative reviews about Pestana London on letsbookhotel.com and on TripAdvisor. I'm not one for writing reviews but decided I should do this one. This hotel was a completely different experience from the negative reviews. The Deluxe king room I stayed in on the 9th floor was perfect and had a lovely view over Battersea park just like I... wat mensen zeggen » requested. The staff was very helpful and even when I needed to do some ironing, all I did was call reception and an ironing board and pressing iron - It was value for money, bed rooms spacious clean and very comfortable beds the lovely white leather coutch in room added elegance and comfort.Breakfast was good luckily we paid for breakfast on chek in it was 12.50 per person. I took it positively the distance from the tube sloan square about 15 mnt fast walk half hour slow but it is a good thing we need excersise i considered it my GYm work out for the morning to walk with bags to the station surely we need this walk thus everything was just g

  The reception guy we met twice over the two days we were there was a consumate professional yet at the same time, sincere and gave us a lovely warm welcome !! The complimentary water we got while waiting briefly to book in was a very nice touch. The younguns even met Noel Fielding !!! And he was just lovely. The room was clean and very co - The staff was extremely helpful and kind! They upgraded out room, provided us with free wifi, make excellent suggestions about where to eat and what all to do. I can't say enough about the staff and the amazing rooms! They were luxuries an the beds were extremely comfortable! The location was prime as well, close to the Camden market, great resturaunts, and a close metro stop! Loved the stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and use it for future traveling to London!
