  The hotel provides an excellent location within London downtown area. Welcoming staff efficently cater to international guests who visibly enjoy the place either for business or leisure.   Very friendly staff. Also accommodated us when our flight arrived early and gave us a spare room till such time as our room was ready. Clean and neat rooms, very centrally located and next to a underground station with a shopping centre within walking distance and a good deli shop next door.   We stayed at the hotel for my husband's 50th birthday. He is keen on trains so I requested, and got, a room overlooking the station. He was in his element. We arrived at 1pm and went in to drop our bags off but the staff were able to check us into our room which was a bonus. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Spa area is nice ...we swam early in the morning and had the pool to ourselves...but it IS small! Breakfast was included in our stay and it was fab!   Everything about the Charlotte Street Hotel impressed us - the hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained, the staff were excellent, and the room was perfect. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a deluxe room, which made the trip even more special.   We stayed in a small, but clean and nice room on the top floor for 5 nights. Top floor means 50 steps, no lift, in quite a narrow staircase. No problem for us, but good to know if you have difficulties with walking in stairs, or have heavy luggage. The bathroom was also very small, but clean and fresh. TV, hairdryer and a kettle in the room, teabags and coffe. Break - Very nice family-run accomodation (friendly owners had 2 cute kids) with great English breakfast (or if you like, a Continental one). While its just a stone's throw from King's Cross / St Pancras station, it is located in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the station and main roads. Our quadruple room came with attached shower and toilet which was very clean.

  Employees were so friendly, I loved how friendly and hospitable they were. Location is much better than expected its right next to oxford street and shopping is perfect for that! There's a Sainsbury next to it as well as a phone shop which is perfect for a tourist. Doormen are super nice, and very helpful. Receptionist are always looking forward t... wat mensen zeggen » o helping as well as the concierge. I'm very picky about cleanliness and I can tell you that they get an A from me on that. I love this hotel and look - The young well trained staff are excellent. The Hotel entrance is amazing, very polite doormen opening doors into the fabulous foyer, probably one of the best entrances in London. The place was very busy with a young clientele. Our room 210 was a good size but did not feel it was the 28mts as was advertised. A large TV with over 100 channels. Good bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Good selection of drinks and a whole drawer of nibbles. Highly recommended.
