  The hotel was spotless, staff very attentive and polite. Food was also of a high standard in the blue boar restaurant. We went for my 50th birthday and they upgraded the room and also laid on complimentary fruit, chocolates and a bottle of champagne. Much appreciated and went down well. Loved it and will go back. - We went here as part of my surprise proposal to my now fiancée. I went early in the day to drop my bag off and when I told the staff my plan, they were very helpful and offered to do something a bit special, which was great. They were all very helpful. The hotel and bar were very cool and the room was excellent. We had a great evening and everything went according to plan. Thank you!
