  Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place. Don't worry about no breakfast- lots of cafe's nearby- I HIGHLY recommend "the Square" cafe round the corner- superb at very reasonable prices and lovely staff!   Everything! Absolutely fab, cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Suite was a small appartment, we could happily have moved in. Thoughtful extras like take-away boxes at breakfast, shopping done for you if you wanted to self-cater, Lovely helpful and friendly staff. It's on the edge of the Old Town but just off the main drag, and it was actually ve - I loved the fact that everything was brand new, very clean and it also had a kitchenette (toaster, microwave, dishwasher etc). It is located in a nice area (new residential developments, offices) and just across the road is University of Edinburgh. It is 20 minutes away from the main tourist attractions (the Castle, Whiskey Museum, Princess Street). There is a parking near by (literally the building close to the hotel). The location is new and it’s not on the gps – you will be guided to an nhs
