  Excellant hotel, location and staff. We did have a problem with bed the first night (headboard dislodged) and the next day they moved us to better room and gave us a discount for that night. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. - Excellent location for the main tourist sites in London

V good cocktail bar and restaurant at Hotel, 'Caxton Grill'. We ate there with 2 children. Accommodating, great food but expensive. I realised I had left a little purse with some tablets in it, whilst I was on the train. I called the hotel and housekeeping went and found it for me and today it arrived in the post!   The location was incredible. You couldn't get more central if you tried. Walk to Buckingham Palace (5 mins), overlooking Green Park, neighbours to St. James Palace and the Ritz. Hop on Hop Off Buses around the corner. Bond Street (5min) walk. Picadilly and Oxford Circus easy walks (15-20 minutes). Underground around the corner...
