  Unforgettable fabulous stay in London Thanks to letsbookhotel.com, I have been fortunate enough to stay at The Hotel Strand Continental for an affordable price, during my recent trip to London. The Hotel Strand Continental is located at a privileged point, in London’s west end; 2 steps far from King’s College London, very near from The River Thame... wat mensen zeggen » s through Waterloo Bridge, in addition to some of the most important sightseeing attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, Sa - Location! Right next to Somerset House. 5 min walk to Temple underground tube. No frills but no unexpected nasty bits. Tea/coffee in room, towels provided, there was clean bedding. Breakfast was good, cereal, toast, juice and tea and coffee as much as you'd like. There was stairs but we didn't mind. We arrived at 10am and our room had already been cleaned so we were told to go straight in. Lovely. Would stay here again

  A really superb location, decent but cheap breakfast, really clean and appears well managed. I would definitely recommend it to others if you are not hoping for anything too fancy. Bed was already made which is unusual for a hostel. - Liked everything!   We stayed on three occasions for a total of eleven nights during June & July 2013. The hotel is situated in a "business area" with the popular Borough Market nearby. It is within walking distance of the underground and many of London's tourist attractions. We always felt safe walking in the area. All staff were very friendly, helpful and effic... wat mensen zeggen » ient. They put themselves out to assist us. Each room we stayed in was different ranging from typical "European" size to larger than what you would e - Great location on the Thames, views of St Paul's , the Gherkin and The Shard. Staff exceptionally friendly and happy. The comfiest bed ive ever slept in, much better than the 5 star knightsbridge hotel we stayed in earlier in year! Great breakfast in the Anchor pub next door. Breakfast room upstairs with river & terrace views . Lots to do in area, took the river boat down to the Eye (you can also walk this in 15- 20mins) then 10 mins on foot to Horseguards parade and onto Trafalgar Square.
