The staff were very helpful and friendly for the duration of my stay. The room itself was lovely, with a constant supply of hot water and a huge range of in-room teas, coffees and hot chocolates. While the facilities and extras were not fantastic, I was there for business and not pleasure so it did not affect me in any way. However, considering the lack of facilities, I thought the price of the room itself was a bit high. Overall, the entire stay at the Red Lion was very enjoyable and the food . alle beoordelingen »
rooms are chalet style an the rear of the garden, relatively new and very comfortable, very quite no road noise.
the red lion is a 16 century grade 2 listed pub and is full of old word character, all the staff are excellent and friendly, i would thoroughly recommend staying here.
Everything, kindness of staff, restaurant, incredible cleaness of the room, they even smell good and fresh. Free internet at good speed. Surrounded by a small nice garden, peaceful, near by car to Cambridge, free parking area.
Charming little country pub in a quiet village, stayed there when we went to the airshow in Duxford, lovely outside garden to relax in, rooms good size comfy and clean, would stay there again.

Great location to stay when visiting the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. Great and quaint country pub with excellent food. Modern comfortable rooms.
Good selection of teas and cafetiere in the room
Food was excellent
Really appreciated newspapers at breakfast
Decent strength hairdryer in the room.

Pleasant and clean room with all facilities.
Attractive garden at back of inn and very quiet.
The room, We were so surprised that it looked like a mews cottage. such a lovely setting and away from the pub itself.
Excellent evening meal and great breakfast, good selection of local beers.
Good clean and quiet accommodation.
Ambience of restaurant and menu/quality of food.
The food
The bed.
The restaurant menu and helpful and attentive staff.
Friendly Staff, good restuarant.
Clean and comfort room.
absolutely nothing.
Nothing really, we all had a good time...
Breakfast was not quite up to scratch. Poached egg too vinegary. Bacon
limp and pale.
Lacking cleanliness in the bar and restaurant. Tables and floors not properly cleaned.
Wi fi just would not work in the room which was irritating.
We had the disabled bathroom - would have preferred a shower and bath. Other rooms were available - would have like to be given the option.
Bath plug broken!.
Not a great deal the pie was a little dry, needed more gravy!.
The room could best be described as 'functional'. Whilst it was
neat, clean and tidy, we were disappointed that it offered no more for
the price. It was small and poorly equipped. No water, no dressing
gowns, no tissues, no toiletries (especially tablet of soap). From the
windows we had a great view of a brick wall a few feet away. In this
regard, the room compared badly with many other hotels in which we have
stayed this year within this price range.
Breakfast times too early.
The room was not worth £200+ per night, bathroom not very clean, no toiletries, robes or luxuries to justify the price. No fridge and only basic tea/coffee facilities.
The fact that the restuarant was not open to guests on our first night stay. The bed was far too large for the relatively small room which made it very difficult for my wheelchair using wife to move aound the room.
Isolated location and nothings to do. TV size is too small.
