  Echt een keten-hotel. Dit gaat ten koste van de "gezellige" uitstraling die kleinere hotels vaak wel hebben. Ligging dicht bij het strand van Portobello. Ga daar zeker een kijkje nemen als je in dit hotel verblijft. Ongeveer 10 minuten lopen vanaf het hotel.   This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. It was a pleasure the rooms are not modern although they do have the touches like the plasma tv and modern bathroom. Overall I would not change anything about the hotel it was perfect.   Great place in the middle of the centrum. Despite this, it's rather quiet and away from all the comotion from the Grassmarket. For us the location was splendid, eventhough we had a car. For this we were set up with a free parking spot close by. Payment procedure might be a little confusing and slightly time-consuming, however worth the effort and... wat mensen zeggen » service. Place was designed very practically as well as cozy and modern. We missed nothing since the appartment is fully equipped. Cooking at home w - The self-contained apartment was beautifully appointed with luxury facilities and attention to detail with all basic provisions e.g. coffee, tea, milk croissants The location was great with walking distance to the museum,art galleries, transport restaurants and the castle. Set in a quiet, secluded close in the middle of Edinburgh this was a luxury retreat for us.

Its about a 15-20 minute walk to the main city centre but lots of other bars/cafes/restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Whilst there was limited... wat mensen zeggen » metered parking in the street it was cheap at only GB$1 per hour during the day, free after about 5pm till 8:30am. The bonus was that if you ask the company they can arrange a free NCP city parking pass at one of the main cit - We stayed at the Blinkbonny Rd residence and it was great. The owner was extremely friendly and the home was immaculate. Absolutely made my family feel like we stayed at our home away from home. We can't wait until our next visit.

  Seriously, you could not get a better location, it really is in the heart of the royal mile and only 5 mins walk from the railway station. The staff are the most helpful, friendly and accommodating people - nothing was any trouble, they let us check in to the apartment earlier and let us check out later (leaving our cases in their premises both ti... wat mensen zeggen » mes while we shopped, etc). Considering there were 5 girls sharing one bathroom & all getting ready to get out there was never any steam in the ba - The two brothers who own the apartment were so helpful and accommodating. They provided information about where to eat, what to see. From the moment we arrived they made us feel very welcomed. We arrived early before check-in so they moved our apt. Up the line to be prepped. They also stored our bags so we could enjoy the afternoon. The apartment is extremely comfortable (good beds and linen!) and directly overlooks all the bustle and excitement of Edinburgh's Royal Mile. The location could not
