  This is the fifth time I have stayed at the Green Dragon over the past 20 years, so that must give some indication. It is located in beautiful countryside about 5 minutes outside Cheltenham, on the old road to Circencester. The food is excellent and the beer good. I have always stayed in the suite, so can't comment on the other rooms, but the sui... wat mensen zeggen » te is large, very well appointed, with a huge bathroom. A perfect place to spread out and relax when visiting the cotswolds. - The Green Dragon is a quintessential English pub, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of lovely countryside, the likes of which continue to sadly disappear. It serves good quality pub grub at reasonable prices, has a good range of beers and wines all served by an attentive and efficient staff. A very enjoyable visit.
