  We had a really good stay for the folk festival. The rooms were lovely, the beds super comfortable and the cooked breakfast definitely the spot in the morning. We would recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay a bit further out from the city center. The staff were super sweet and helpful, breakfast generous and the original buildings of the pub enchanting NOT luxurious but a nice change from tiny London hotel rooms!

This girl goes out of her way to make sure your guests are well taken care of and I say that not just from how she helped me but I saw her helping other guests. She goes above and beyond what one would expect and always with a great smile and cheerful disposition...even when guests aren't happy. She r... wat mensen zeggen » eally deserves a raise. I was amazed at how she handled everything and honestly, would not have enjoyed my stay without here charming disposition...k - The staff are very friendly with big smiles. The restaurant staff during the breakfast were very welcoming and the breakfast was so good. The location is very quite and handy to the centre if you have got a car. My son enjoyed it a lot and considered it as one of his best hotel expereinces. It was mention that the car parking is for £8/day but it was for free :) !! Thanks.

  We were on a National Trust property tour and this was an ideal stop off point to visit three in that area. Very friendly helpful staff. Very pleasant chalet type rooms. Super food and beer! Also close to visit Cambridge. Would stay at Jolly Brewers any time when in that vicinity. - Honestly I expected an average place for the price but it was b... wat mensen zeggen » etter than so called luxury places, nice bar, excellent food in the restaurant, very nice staff who were very patience with our lively two year old and of course the parents were left happy with the excellent beer!
