  We all had an amazing week, the staff were so friendly, the rooms lovely and all our needs were catered for! We will be back before the summer is out! - Warm and welcoming especially on a wet and windy September day. The host and hostess were absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.

  Would certainly recommend this Guest House and will stay again hopefully for longer than just the two nights I was only able to spare this time. Great welcome and hospitality - very pleasant location and ideal for the beach, the town and the main 'Strand' bus stop - Great owner, very friendly and helpful.   Everything about this B&B was excellent. We were greeted by Angela and Lee who were very friendly and helpful. The Houndapitt is set amongst rolling hills and you get a sense of peacefulness as soon as you arrive. Although placed in a countryside setting this B&B is only 5 minutes drive from a beach. The room was excellent with what appear... wat mensen zeggen » ed to be a newly furbished en-suite and the beds were comfortable (we were in a twin room). Breakfast was good and nothing was too much trouble for A - Really cannot recommend this place enough, what a lovely friendly place. This has to be the best B & B I have ever stayed at. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners who were so accommodating. We had a peaceful nights sleep in a lovely comfortable bed. The breakfast was great and you could have anything you wanted. If anyone can find anything to grumble about this place then they really need to get a life.

  Everybody at the Hotel was very friendly and very helpful. The Hotel itself was very clean and the room cleaning was first class. Breakfasts were of a good size and the quality of the ingredients was great. Setting of the Hotel was excellent and the views were wonderful. We were sad to leave. How spotlessly clean the hotel was, rooms serviced daily, fresh towels provided daily. Attractive decor throughout. Excellent food served in a very pleasant dining room. Location overlooking Crooklets beach, waking up to the sound of the sea and watching the waves coming on to the beach from our bedroom window was lovely!

  The location, a pleasant walk to the beach, also a countryside walk along the canal and not too far from the town centre for shops, etc. The garden of the hotel was a pleasure, we were able to sit and read in very lovely surroundings.
