It was a lovely interesting house set in a beautiful flower filled
rambling garden which guests are invited to explore. My room was bright
and cheery with fresh flowers, a comfy bed and everything I needed.
Sally, Chris and Anna were very friendly and on arrival I was welcomed
with a cup of tea and biscuits and invited into the guests' lounge
which had a wealth of local guide books and maps to borrow. The
breakfasts and 'optional' dinners were very good and guests sit
together at a long dining . alle beoordelingen »
Extremely welcoming Lovely Room Outstandingly friendly hostess Very good
breakfast with excelent veggie option Excellent concept I travel
extensively throughout the world...by far the best B&B I have
experienced. I cannot recommend it enough!!.
Warm welcome and garden tour from host Sally.
Lovely food, including booked evening meal, around a communal dining table.
Sense of family history.
Good location.
A really fantastic B&B. Great breakfast with home produced sausages, beautiful garden, really friendly hosts, beautiful countryside and lovely weather!.
The very friendly welcome, the beautiful location and house, the orchard... everything! We will come back!.
Sally was very welcoming and very informative about the area and the lovely Rectory.
Spotlessly clean.
Very good ambiance Sally total commitment to customer service and her special touch.
Lovely surroundings and exquisite hosts with nothing too much trouble.
very relaxed and made to feel special and welcomed really recommend it.
Beautiful and quiet. It was so lovely, we can't wait to return.
Quiet, interesting, exclusive place.
Everything, exceptional standards.
Everything!.
Interesting property with atmosphere, home produced ingredients for
catering, lovely dog! Weather precluded a look at the garden.
I had to leave to continue our holiday...I Would of loved to of stayed.
Need to follow website directions exactly rather than satnav necessarily, as it is a little off the beaten track. This is a warning rather than a criticism!.
Small bathroom area needs more lighting but nothing too much to worry about.
nothing to dislike at all.

A little hard to find.
Breakfast was poor: I hate overcooked eggs; kippers also done to death.
En-suite was very "heath-robinson" with poor lighting; next
door to the property is a buidling site and there are ugly semi-derelict
farm buidlings on the lane outside the old rectory. Vehicle access is
challenging and I sustained some damage to my car. The proprietor was
utterly unsympathetic about this. Indeed, she completely ignored my
remarks on the subject.
