  Everything was of a very high standard. Our room was lovely and comfortable with lots of space - our hostess was very friendly - breakfast was delicious. We would recommend staying at Mill House, particularly if you are attending a wedding at Coombe Lodge which is very close. - 20/10. A bonus packed meal for breakfast (very generous) to take with us to the airport, for an early flight. Definitely will return.

  One of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have been fortunate enough to stay in. A lovely warm, friendly welcome from Debbie and Nigel, both perfect hosts. You are made to feel very much at home and nothing is too much trouble for them. Debbie even provided toys for our little two year old, Alfie, to play with. We attended a Wedding at Coombe Lodge on the Saturday and - The B&B was lovely, and the breakfast was the best we had in ages (and we do travel a fair bit!). We had a 13 months old with us, and nothing was too much trouble for the owner - even storing our little one's fridge in the kitchen and bringing it outside our door at 7am for his morning drink. We were there for a wedding just a few miles away at Castle Combe so that was a very convenient location.   We stayed for one night on our way to Bristol airport.The house is beautiful with super old beams & some very nice pieces of antique furniture.Breakfast is a do it yourself job (in the spotless kitchen ) which suited us fine as we were leaving very early in the morning for our flight so actually didn't bother except tea.Could not be more conve... wat mensen zeggen » nient for the airport - 5 minutes drive away.Thank you Johan, we will be back !!! Paul & Linda Garwood - The house has been newly renovated. We were the first people to stay in our room! Johan was very helpful, and explained things very well. The house is a bit of a maze and you needed a tour guide to find your room ;-) Private parking at the back of the house. There looked to be great views over the mendips, but we couldn't really get the full benefit due to pouring rain!

  Hotel wordt gerund door zeer aardig en attent Australisch echtpaar. kamers zijn top. Ontbijt is okee maar niet echt uitgebreid. De vieuw vanuit het hotel en de kamers is geweldig.Is erg landelijk gelegen. - We liked everything. Felt totally at home, so much so that we sat on the lounge floor in front of the 'real' fire each evening with the news pa... wat mensen zeggen » pers and a drink. How relaxing is that? The people running the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone. The pool needs a special mentiion too, my family think we should get one just like it in our garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This really is a wonderful place to stay. Only 8 rooms, but worth a 5 star hotel. Spacious room and bathroom, swimmingpool and jacuzzi ! The landlady is an excellent cook, the menu is limited but just try the minestrone and the penne: superb ! And not expensive at all.   We stayed in the room with access for disabled as it was the last room for 1 night - 2 beds downstairs, 1 double upstairs. Very comfortable and cosy room - would be extremely good if in a wheelchair etc as bathroom very good for that. Upstairs landing bedroom lovely. Was able to use the Wifi with ease and the food was excellent. Properly cooked... wat mensen zeggen » and delicious. It's a real treat to get chips made from fresh potatoes and when you ask for rare meat you get it rare. Well done to them. Breakfas - We were made really welcome . The Landlord lit the fire in the sitting room so that we could enjoy our excellent bar meal in a more relaxed setting as the pub was fully booked .Excellent location only 5 miles from the airport . We would definitely go back as this would be an ideal place to stay for a visit to Bath . a really good find and excellent value for money .
