  A friendly informal atmosphere..welcoming and helpful staff.Room was bright comfortable and clean..The restaurant is excellent..It has been converted into an Italian restaurant with a very wide and imaginative menu..popular with locals.The food was very well cooked and the service was fast..The same food is available in the bar at the same price.T... wat mensen zeggen » he bar is usually busy and the customers are friendly.Breakfasts were excellent.. - Very friendly and homely. Brillliant staff, nothing too much trouble and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. The pub had a great atmosphere and we would highly recommend it as a pub with accomodation. My brother and I were on a short golfing holiday and it proved an excellent and very reasonably priced base, for the local courses. This was our 2nd visit, and it certainly won't be our last.
