  The staff were all excellent and extremely polite. I have stayed at far more expensive airport hotels and had much poorer service. The restaurant food was very good, but the chef needs to learn a little more about what medium and well done steaks are. They were both very undercooked.   I took my girlfriend away for the weekend, and we had an amazing time. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the facilities are very modern and clean. The grounds are well kept and I proposed to my girlfriend in the rock garden, which looks like something straight out of a fantasy film. Wernher restaurant is quite exceptional. Golf course massive. Clay pigeon shooting top. Highly recommended as a historic and luxurious weekend. However I think you need to be in the main building - you wouldn't want to be in the modern block - no matter how sympathetically designed. That would eliminate the whole point of the experience.

  I liked the whole experience of staying for two nights. The rooms were scrupulously clean, very well proportioned and very comfortable. The little extras like a notepad in the room or the tissues, soap and good sized towels in the shower room made you feel that you were staying in a much more expensive hotel. Car parking was very generous. - The staff were friendly and pleasant, particullarly the gentleman on night reception who had to deal with unruly customers with very little support. The bathroom was excellent with a large walk in shower however it would be useful if we were informed on arrival that we had to request bath towels from reception as these are not automatically supplied.

  The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Great location for visiting Whipsnade Zoo as we were still able to walk into Dunstable in the evening where there were several good pubs and restaurants. Carmel could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast was also phenomenal - we would definitely stay here again. - I had read reviews and I wondered whether it could live up to expectations. It did more than this. I enjoyed the peaceful location and took advantage of the close proximity to 'The Downs' to have a Sunday morning walk. Needed the walk to burn off the extra calories from the excellent breakfast. Carmel was wonderful. She took time out to talk to her guests and had a good rapport with everyone.

  The Hotel was warm and comfortable. It was clean and the staff friendly a good location to the train station and centre of the town. The room was spacious and modern The only thing that I thought was wrong was that the shower base started to fill up and wouldn't drain away I stopped the shower and waited for it to drain away but I think there is a... wat mensen zeggen » n issue with the drains. I reported it and the staff were very apologetic - I noted the care and attention to detail in the presentation of my room. Well done whoever was responsible it really shows you a level of professionalism rarely seen. Breakfast and evening staff were very welcoming and pleasant, again well done all. This experience has really reinforced my already high regard for the Ibis hotel group.
