Walk from the hotel and catch the DLR to Canary Wharf from East India (few mins walk, literally - and not main roads to cross), or take a 2 minute walk across a set of Traffic Lights to Blackwall DLR. Trains are so quick, less waiting and right until midnight. An - It is only 5 mins walk under a tunnel from Blackwall station, you can see hotel from DLR. Staff at check in desk friendly and check in/out quick and easy never had food so cant comment nice budget hotel close to shops (15 mins walk) Beware of taxis share if you can we did twice there and back after concert at 02, pre-book because you get a set fare

There is a DLR station 2 minutes walk from the hotel, which makes London easily accessible! The hotel is really pretty and well decorated! Our room suited our needs perfectly, it was stylish and comfortable with impressive complimentaries.   Upon arrival, it was clear to see the hotel was clean and fairly luxurious (Especially for a 'Holiday Inn'!). The staff were friendly and helpful, with the room cleaned regularly, with free water and chocolate each day (at least I think they were free!). Especially at night; looking over the Olympic park, docklands and the o2. - Large rooms, excellent beds, coffee and tea facilities in room and good bathroom. Quality of breakfast and room service also excellent, and on top of it all, slam opposite Europe's largest shopping centre, with almost every central London shop available. Ideal location for both shopping as well as a quick underground trip (20 minutes by central line) to the centre of London and its attractions. ALso very convenient to get to City Airport and Southend Airport.

  The quirkiness; if you don't like quirky then don't stay here! The staff were young, helpful and keen to make our stay a pleasant one. We chose a room without a window which was fine for 1 night. The hand made bed was awesome (spend money on your bed and shoes as if you're not in one you're in the other). The choice of lighting in the room was ... wat mensen zeggen » good also.   Very nice location, on the edge of the congestion zone. Parking was available in a non-associated parking house about two blocks away. The tower and tower bridge and the river is about 10-15 minutes walk. Room was clean, everything in order. Ac is great and sound isolation from the street noises worked perfectly.   Stayed here for 1 night with my partner, we were attending a function close by so location was excellent. we arrived half a hour early but the gentleman on reception was very helpful and rather than make us wait while our room was been cleaned, he changed our room so we could check in early. although the room wasn't huge, there was plenty of room ... wat mensen zeggen » for 2 people and as the hotel was fairly new all the facilities were up to an excellent standard. I would definitely use this hotel again, it was even - Great position, Shoreditch is full of pubs, clubs and restaurants and very close to the City! Old street underground station is 5-10 minutes on foot; next to the hotel there is the bus stop (buses to the Tower of London, Oxford Circus and Waterloo). Hotel clean and new. "Mediterranean" breakfast. Staff very gently.
