Was a bit wary given the bad reviews, but this was a fantastic experience. Lovely old castle with modern facilities, friendly staff, peaceful location with large grounds, huge beds, superb breakfast, and the gym and pool facilities were top class. I liked everything about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, nothing is too much bother. The rooms are comfortable and clean as is the beds. Adjustable mattress beds, air conditioning, non slip floor in bathroom, sprinkler system, large walk in shower with controls easily accessible and not beside rain shower head. Staff friendly and professional. Late check out not a problem. Money off breakfast voucher.

The hotel staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient. The decor was impressive and very interesting. The room was lovely, modern, clean and well presented. Reception staff were very helpful and lovely, easy to get on with. Room was beautiful, very nice decor. Bathroom was spotless, facilities in room were superb! Bed was a good size with comfortable bedding, television was perfect location. Lighting was optional! Fast free wifi service was a boost. Hotel as a whole was absolutely stunning. Overall excellent service and stay! Will defs be staying again.

The staff were extremely helpful on arrival and arranged for my bags to be carried to my room. The breakfast was excellent and the next morning the receptionist remembered who I was and asked how I had enjoyed the wedding I had been attending. Nice clean rooms, bit small but fine for price paid. Bed comfortable. Staff very attentive. WiFi added bonus! All we needed on hand including iron and board. Very central location and was surprised at what little noise we heard. Jacuzzi bath was a highlight. Was worried about only continental breakfast but needn't had been, lots to choose from and

Was only for one night but would stay again. Very comfy bed, clean white cotton bed linen which smelt of that "just dried in the fresh air" smell, not the usual hotel laundry smell. A massive jacuzzi bath, (bit noisy you would have to shout if you wanted a conversation), the colour scheme easy on the eye, quite restful considering. Good substantial self serve continental breakfast the following morning. Friendly staff.

The room was pure luxury. The bath, double shower and all extras ie massage oil, bath oil, candles made for a very relaxing evening. Breakfast was perfect, very filling and the staff met our every needs.
We would definitely stay again. A special treat for a special occasion.
