  Location, comfort and breakfast - all faultless. Room 227 was indeed a superior room with a stunning sea view, plus tea/coffee facility. Female staff were incredibly helpful. Young male reception staff varied. I hope all staff received some of the large tip we left at the end of our stay as we so seldom had the right money at the right time. ... wat mensen zeggen » Tip - use the back door when walking into Sultanahmet. Very happy to stay at Hotel Kalyon again.and thank you to all helpful and attentive staff! - Istanbul is eclectic, lively and definitely worth several days exploration! The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we requested anything. After leaving the hotel, when a problem arose, the reception staff were amazing and could not have done more to assist. The location was perfect to visit the main attractions in the city, which were within walking distance. It was also situated on the coast overlooking the Sea.
