  Very stylish new hotel in a nice district of Istanbul. We stayed for 5 days in the beginning of May, 3 days were hot, and 2 windy and rainy, and it was equally comfortable in the room. We stayed in a standard room: it is not big, but enough space for 2 people with a big suitcase. The room, bathroom, towels and everything else is very clean and n - Very good location: on the tram line that goes to the historical center and not far from the funicular (the transportation mean) that goes to Taksim comercial area. Next to the Bosphorus touristic port and ferryboat that crosses to the Asian side. Friendly and dedicated staff. Good breakfast. Good restaurant (for having also the other meals of the day). Clean and properly maintained.

  We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. In summary, everything is excellent. - Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife.   Very helpful and nice stuff. Location - next to the istiglaliyyet street 5min walk. A lot of nice pubs in surrounding. Front view, top floors are really nice deal. Clean - the room was cleaned everyday. We have stayed for 4+2nights. There are a lot of things to see in Istanbul and night life is one of them. Breakfast was good. In general I would ... wat mensen zeggen » stay here again and the price was as per the value. - I did like the reception team and how they took good care of us during our stay even the manager had a big part . although it wasnt our first stay and definitely not the last we really enjoyed staying in tulip city hotel feeling at home...

  The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about this and other historic moments. The elevator from 1895 can still run (though not always in use). They sell postcards and other souvenirs about the hotel at the front desk. Really a piece of history! The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

  A brand new property with very helpful and genuinely earnest staff. The rate is excellent at the moment too for a hotel of this high quality. A small but very nice indoor pool and spa area are a great bonus after a long hot day. The complimentary bottles of water and tea/coffee facilities in the room were very welcome indeed, as these are usual... wat mensen zeggen » ly not standard in lots of hotels in Turkey. - Everything! The facilities are simply superb, the staff extremely friendly, courteous and very helpful. A very relaxed atmosphere. All the modern conveniences and only a hop, skip and jump to shops, bars, restaurants and interesting sights by foot or short taxi ride - I would stay there again and highly recommend the Radisson Blu to anyone seeking excellent accommodation in Istanbul.
