I have stayed in Invictum Residence with 2 other friends and I can highly recommend it to everyone wishing to go on a trip to Istanbul. It's only 1 minute walk to lively Istiklal Street, all shops and Restaurants. The staff is excellent and they are always there for your needs. The rooms are so spacious. I am going back to Istanbul in 3 days again and definitely will be staying here.

I was really impressed the way hospitable and friendly the staff was. They helped us all the time, gave us the needed advice and were always polite. If we had to go to other city, - they showed us the way, if we had a problem, then they solved it easily. In Orient Hostel we felt like in big family, knowing some nice people from all over the world.

The hostel staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed spending time with them.
The hostel is located right near the historic area of Istanbul. You can get in just minutes to Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, The Blue Mosque or Basilica Cistern. It is also very easy to get to the hostel from Sultanahmet tram station.
One big plus is that the hostel was very clean. Also, we had breakfast included in the room price and the hostel had safety boxes to keep our valuables.

De ligging van de hotel was goed - It's the 2nd time we stayed just only for one night and the staff always welcomed us very friendly, the rooms are big and bathroom too and are quiet. Actually when we arrived he even gave us a nice introduction about the city that was very helpful. Its located just next to Taksim Square so you are good located for the tours and for the night life in Istanbul! -

What makes up for the shortcomings of the hotel is the really friendly, helpful and nice staff. For the price, you really can't complain. Location is excellent as it is VERY close to the Hippodrome so it's easy to take short rests or a nap when u r tired of walking. Yakamoz guesthouse is a very special place: the building is not big but furnishings is in perfect turkish style, and the atmosphere is really hospitable.
Our room, was very nice, everything was full of coulors and original.
In particular, the owner of the guesthouse is a very good person, he's lovely, nice and hearty.
The building is very close to the centre of istanbul, so close to blue mosque and santa sofia mosque and grand bazar.
I advise this guesthouse to everyone!
