  Konak Hotel is the best - We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in Istanbul. Friendly and always helping receptionists. Room was arranged every day. My 3 year old son was very comfortable. Room is ideal for couple with one kid. Located very close to Taksim and close to shopping street. Taxis come next to the door. So overall beautiful experience and... wat mensen zeggen » would recommend anyone to stay here. Perfect value for money. - Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square. The staff were really helpful and there was usually someone around speaking English. Good breakfast and reasonable restaurant. Very nice bathrooms.

  My stay at Rixos Hotel had a taste from heaven. Rixos is simply the best hotel in Istanbul, speacially for families with kids. It's the only hotel with all duplix rooms, not to mention the superb level of services.   We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. In summary, everything is excellent. - Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see. The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

  The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA.
