This is a fantastic hotel if you want to stay in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The hotel is a few minutes walk to all the sights and in a quiet street. The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the view on the terrace is great. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning staff are meticulous! Ask for a room with a water view if you can!

The wonderful hotel in the heart of ancient town. We lived in apartments - it was great. Good heated room, super friendly staff (more friendly than in 5 stars hotels!!!!. 3-4 min to shopping area and 4-5 min to good small buffets and stores. Excellent !!!

Very good apartments. Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. Frendly personnel fluent in English and Russian (special thanks to Yildiz!).
Very well for family tourism.

First of all it's location of the hotel - five minute walk from Istiklal street? Galata Tower and Tunel station, which will take you right to the Karakoy and Galata bridge in 90 seconds! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiconomy Suites. Mehmet is extremely professional, accommodating to guests, and very prompt in getting back to emails. The hotel transfer from Sabiha was prompt and reasonably priced for a family of four (50 euro). The location is very convenient (walking distance) to Taksim, Istiqlal St., Galata Tower. Finally, the apartment was clean and the interior furnishings new and attractive. We will be coming back!

This was like a breath of fresh air as I had experienced difficulty with another hotel called best Nobel And Nobel hotel so was beginning to think Istanbul was not good for solo female travellers!!! If you look for a perfectly located hotel with local flair, you will love Djem. We booked a de Luxe room (located on the second floor in the building facing the mosque). Here, the view is magnificent. The owner runs a shop in the nearby art bazaar and all over the hotel and the room you will find beautiful examples of traditional and contemporary Kelim art. Personnel is great and speaks good to excellent English. Of course you hear the Muezzin at night, but that just adds to the oriental charms
