Warm friendly and comfortable,great view of Istanbul on the roof top with pool bar and restaraunt

There was'nt much we did'nt like only that the Health Club was not up and running when we were there it was getting repaired,so we missed out on a swim and sauna.

Location is very good, peaceful and nice and sea view.

Staff could speak a bit better english, but everything still worked out.

Easy to walk to boat to Princes Islands (about 15 minutes walk. About 10 minutes walk to taxibus who takes you to Katakoya for 6 TR.In katakoya the boats are for Emineü (the european side.The Sultanhagmet,The Blue Mosk,The Bazar and Taksim).It will take you there for only 3tr. 5 minutes walk from the hotel theres "the real thing" turkey life in the part of Istanbul called Malterpe.And 5 minutes walk form hotel is park and seaside and sevrel playgrounds for kids. The lokal ppl is very kind. I was nice liveing away from the tourist crowd...and easy to go there if wanted.Important: last boat bact to Katakoya (asian side) is 21:10 dont be LATE.Asian side can be reased by taxi if late but expencive (about 100 tr)

The pool close a 19:00 is bad.Cause after walking most day in the heat it would be very nice to get cooled of a bit. Only the reseption person speeks englich.But he/she speeks it very well though.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were generally happy about almost everything

As a couple we couldn't get a double-bed, but a room with 2 single beds. They got them joined. Drinks from the bar was extremely expensive. 35ml bottled wine was 35 Turkish Liras. So we went out to buy drinks.

HOTEL: Good buffet breakfast,Comfy beds,Clean rooms. ISTANBUL: Excellent transport system,Clean,Friendly people,Lots to see,You will need at least two weeks to explore all of Istanbul.The Princesses Island well worth visit,Catch a ferry from Bostanci and take a ride on a horse drawn carriage.(70TL).Probably the biggest selection of Ice cream and toppings ever. Once on the main rod transport is very easy and frequent to take you to Kadikoy to cross over to the European side.To the front of the Hotel there is apromenade which has Beachside cafes serving good food and desserts and you can have a shisha(called Nargilla). for 15TL.Relax there with a pleasant breeze till late.There are also a lot of Eateries inc.Burger King.Walk to the back of the hotel through the alleways to get to Baghdat Av.(about 7mins.) and a lot of shops inc. Money exchange places.!5 mins walk to Bostanci for all the International Eating brands.

Hotel reception staff except 1 speak very poor English.A nightmare if you want directions or there is a problem.Hotel hidden away in an Alleyway between two main roads.

I liked the pool on the roof,and the staff was friendly.

I didnt like that the air conditioning wasnt working,and the inside pool neither.

swimming on the roof & also in the basement, 24 hours room service and friendly staff.

tooooooo faaaaaaaar from all the attractions first its about 10/15 minutes walk then train and then ferry, wouldn't recommend any one especially with children.

Location was close to sea but I could not have a chance to get room which has a sea view.

It was an ok buy bathroom wasnot clean ! Towels, i had to require new ones.

Staff responsiveness

1) There was a party on roof restaurant and we lived 1 floor below - it was no able to sleep until late noght; 2) View from window - only close wall od opposite building; 3) We asked for non-smoking room, but it was smoking room.

Near Bagdat Street for good quality local shopping at affordable prices

Hotel not suitable visiting tourist locations on European side. Train noisy but can be tolerated after second night. Check and agree minibar on arrival.

Breakfast not fancy but adequate, staff is helpful.

Terrible ventilation system you can easy smell rust from lobby till your room, AC Very weak and noisy, location is not that good, small pool, the most worst WI-FI you can ever had. In short it is old and not 4 stars hotel and it didn’t deserve the value of money you are paying.
