  Really good monney/quality and awesome location, close to ko san road but still very quiet. Bus to go everywhere, boat on the river as well. The staff helped us with everything! Bed was big and ok! We stayed 4nights and will stay there again! - Really good hostel. Cheap, comfortable, location is excellent, close to the ks Rd, but quiet at night. ... wat mensen zeggen » Clean room, but better on the first floor than the 4th. A few minutes to taxi boat stop. Friendly staff. Good for low cost traveller.

  I arrived quite late but the staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband was to come meet me at the hotel in the morning on the way between business trips and even though he got there after I had to leave the hotel accommodated us and even washed his washing in record time. He ended up overstaying an hour and was not charged for it. The location is good JUST IF YOU WANT TO TAKE A BUS in the north terminal next day, in other case is very far away to the places of interest in Bangkok. We reserved one night, arrived from the airport in the night and we were leaving the place at 6a.m to take the bus.

  Very friendly and helpful staff and they really made an effort to make us feel welcome. Food was good and well priced. Always clean and even though the surrounding location seemed a bit neglected the hotel was kept very well and we always felt secure. Highly recommended and this was our best experience with all the places we stayed in for 3 weeks ... wat mensen zeggen » ranging from budget to more expensive hotels. Best value for money we experienced on our trip. Grand Palace and Khao San road 5-10 main away. - Rooms are big and new except for the bathroom(Thai style) and are kept spotless everyday! The location is great for Khao San Road aswell as Grand Palace and other sights in the old town. Walking distance. The young girls at reception sprak Bert limieten English but are really friendly! Breakfast was good enough. If you are looking for a homely feel then don't book here but if you want great location and clean, comfortable rooms Baan Boran is perfect for you. Would book here again

It is definitely one of the best places to stay at in Bangkok as it is quiet by the riverside and you can relax and chat and drink beer with the other travellers. The place consists of a wooden building over the water and has a big open hut area that you can sit and relax in.
