  Room was a good size, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lots of cheap and tasty local restaurants nearby for breakfast or lunch. Close to San Saep canal pier for cheap and fast way to centre of Bangkok. We cannot thank enough Chantira, Aom and Kluin, for making our experience of Thailand and our stay at OBI a very pleasant one.   This hotel was only days old when we stayed so we only booked our first night in Bangkok here as we were unsure what it would be like. Upon walking through the front door I immediately extended our stay for the duration of our trip. We got a twin room and it was quite large and very comfortable with all facilities included. Very large, open eating space with cutlery and hot water available to make your own food. Beautiful layout, very open spaced and brightly lit in a very new building. Thai proverbs are written on the walls throughout the hostel which was a very nice touch.   Located right next to the Democracy Monument (unknown to us there were very noisy 24/7 political demonstrations going on right on the hotels doorstep, but not their fault at all!), so the location is pretty much unbeatable, walking distance to Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Chao Phraya Express ferry stop, Khao San Rd, Golden Mount, with plenty of buses ru... wat mensen zeggen » nning through the area allowing you to easily reach other areas of the city. The girls at the desk were amazing, they made you feel right at home and - We had a room with window (the cheapest one has no window) and it was very nice and clean. Staff was very helpful, they asked about our plans and helped to plan buses or trains to get to our destination and wrote us in English and Thai all important information :) Location, it is about 5 minute walk to Ko San and about 25 to Royal Palace. Place has convenient location and yet is very quite.

  When it comes to cost, location, and overall atmosphere, Baan Dinso 2 was fantastic!!! It is a very CLEAN, hospitable place with a staff that are always willing to help. Stayed several days, and would always stay again! Easy to walk to all the big monuments, great restaurants and shops nearby, and also great food on premises (including free breakf... wat mensen zeggen » ast)! - The Baan Dinso Hostel was very clean and well situated in a central area. As a single woman I felt safe here. There were lots of places to eat nearby and the breakfast served by baan dinso (extra charge) was good and convenient. Since my room was not on the street side the traffic noise did not keep me awake. The lounge area is nice and comfortable.
