  I have a home in Thailand, and I often pass through Bangkok going to/from North When I stay on the Sukhumvit side of town, I often stay at the President Palace, which is very central and only 1/2 a block off of Sukhumvit Road. However, on a recent stay I had friends staying at the "Phachara Suites Sukhumvit Bangkok" and I joined them. That being sa... wat mensen zeggen » id, I am now back for my second visit to the "Phachara Suites Sukhumvit Bangkok." The room price/value is exceptional. The rooms are new, fresh, great - The rooms were excellent with kitchenette, washing machine and great decor, two televisions one in sitting area and one in bedroom. I arrived for an early check in after a night flight and the reception staff were accomadting and made a special effort to get me a room with a balconey ( as requested) a soon as possible. Duly got the room after 30 minutes . Great location for entertainment and restaurants. Secuirty good. Seven eleven store just over the road for food and drinks.

  The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. The hotel is only a five minuite walk from the skytrain and 10 minuite walk from the main shops. Hotel swimming pool is good and plenty of room around the pool for sunbathing. - The staff treats you like a royalty, polite, helpful, accomodating.   This hotel is absolutely beautifull, the room was big and had everything in it, good coffee maker, books, television's very nice bathroom a nice balcony. Breakfast was excellent, we have two children 5 and 9 years old, they loved the Kids club with pc's, WII games, painting, and fun games with the nursery staff.   Very friendly and helpful staff, never a grumpy one as I've seen at most other places. Also seems to have a consistent level of quality. - Great location near the gay area. Nice finishings and interior design. Buffet was amazing. Staff was generally polite and helpful.

Amazing design, the technology used to control the rooms lightening with a little touchpad is really fun. The lunch was horrible whereby the breakfast was just a taste for its own.
