  Stayed with husband and daughter 13 years for 2 nights. The hotel is good for those who want to see the historical sights. Very nice hotel location. The boat, which serves as a public transport for 15 baht per person can gain access to the city center. And these trips are replaced by a tour of the canals. To the temples are within walking distance... wat mensen zeggen » , you can take a boat trip. To the pier from the hotel to the right, right up to the junction with the small green area. And there is a pier. From the - I stayed at Erawan House twice during this trip to Thailand. The important aspects for me are - location, quietness and security, then staff and cleanliness. Erawan House was excellent in all aspects. Location: excellent - very quite and within easy walking distance to anywhere around the Khao San Road area. Security: felt as though my belongings and myself were safe all the times. Staff: were lovely; very helpful (eg: made phone calls for us), friendly and fun. I would definitely stay again

  The bed was the hardest yet on my 3 month trip in S.E.Asia, but we solved it by putting a the mattress from an extra-bed on top. It was very comfortable. Unlike many other hotels/hostels in the same area, there was air and space - in the outdoor restaurant, the garden and the courtyard for parking. There was a washing machine! Very good. Restaurants and conveniance stores nearby. - Great hotel, clean rooms, good, tv, laundry facilities, tourist desk for trips. Love the location of this hotel as it is a 5-10 minute walk from the khaosan road so you have can have all the craziness but with somewhere you can go back and have some peace and calm. Theres a great cafe a 3 minute walk from here called Chomp that has amazing food and homemade bread and amazing service.

  First of all, the room charge for one week (approx. 6 days) was only 5,700 Bahts - quite cheap and reasonable for a place like Bangkok. The location of the hotel is simply great - very close to Rachatrarop station of airport MRT line to Survabhumit International Airport. From there, you can go around the city of Bangkok to most of its tourist des... wat mensen zeggen » tination through the use of MRT service (e.g., Siam Paragon, MBK, Yaowarat, and even to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho by boat!). The hotel is near to m - Great hotel! 2 min walk to the platinum and the paladium malls. 20 min walk (or 150 bhat tuk tuk) to the mbk. So if you came to Bangkok to shop- best location! And even if not the sky train station is right there.   I loved the design of the hostel - very modern, industrial, chic, and clean. I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff is! They were a huge help to us and even offer the guests free coffee, tea, and fruit! Everything was spotless - including the bathroom. Toilet paper is provided and the showers are hot!   This place is amazing! For the value you could never do better. I had my own room with air conditioning and a shower; the room was very comfortable and clean for an extremely low rate (not low for other parts of Thailand, but very low for Bangkok). The place was like a garden Oasis in the craziness of Bangkok. I would stay there even if I weren't ... wat mensen zeggen » a budget traveler. The breakfast area was lovely, and on my first morning I met another solo traveler who went on many adventures with me. This place - The ambience and environment in suk11 is welcoming and is a breath of fresh air from the busy city life. It is also very cozy with the dim lights and the room is above expectations for the price it costs.
