  We were collected from the ferry port (make sure you email them before and ask for this) and driven straight to the villa where we were greeted by Winnie who was incredibly friendly and helpful. She settled us in, have us a welcome pack of a map where she told us best places to eat/rent a scooter/excursions etc, a torch, snorkelling equipment, dry... wat mensen zeggen » bag (for boat trips), local mobile phone with credit and relevant numbers, takeaway menus and plug adapter. She was on call pretty much 24/7 and we c - Everything, the villas are very big and new. even breakfast was included and you could order the food you like directly to your house. we really liked it there

  Free transfer from the pier to the hotel. Nice hotel, clean, beautiful pool and just next to a lovely bay. Staff was friendly and helpful.   We stayed at the Star Villa for 6 nights in Feb 2013. We were very happy with our choice and enjoyed a great level of service from Alan and Heidi, the British expats who own and run the villa. We decided not to stay near the busy seafront on Tao in order to get away from it all, but were also keen to be close enough to Sairee village in order to u... wat mensen zeggen » ndertake our open water diving course during our stay. The Star Villa offers the best of both worlds - it's less than a 5 min drive from the centre of - Koh Tao Star Villa is an excellent place to stay on the Koh Tao island. The hotel is located on a hill and the view is beautiful. The hotel offers a pick-up service from the harbour, which is very convenient. You can also get a lift to the village daily. We booked the penthouse and there was plenty of room for our group of friends. The penthouse was very well equipped and we had hot water. There is even a laundry service in case you need it.   Excellent room with bathtub on balcony overlooking bay. lovely hotel, infinity pool and bar/restaurant perched on top of koa tao. Free bus down to beach, but only couple minute walk. shark bay around corner but good snorkeling and swimming of hotel beach - Rooms were lovely, big beds! Great location and views around the island!!
