  The staff in the Arcare building were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and maintenance were punctual and efficient. Front desk staff were very helpful. Restaurant was good and waiting staff friendly and attentive. Hotel bar was good for meeting and chatting with other guests with a very nice and friendly barman in charge. A 5 minute walk to rent skis/sports shop, and another 5 minutes to the Sunneggabahn funicul - 1 min walking distance from train station. Spacious room with a couzy sofa and an armchair, huge balcony for a five o'clock tea; nicely designed bathroom with a window. Slippers/bath gown. Swmming pool, sauna, solarium - all very nice.

  A special word of thanks to Raymond and Gerald - the reception staff at the Hotel Alpenhof Superior. As the first room we checked into did not have a view of the Matterhorn, with Raymond and Gerald's assistance, our room was changed for the second evening of our stay, which had an incredible view of the Matterhorn! Lorraine and Eric - Toronto, Onta - We were upgraded on arrival to have a beautiful suite and a fruit basket. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Very convenient to rent skis and to take the train to the mountain.
