  I can't say enough good about this place. The staff were all excellent, bending over backward to make our stay enjoyable. They hung a welcome sign on our room. They left a personally written welcome postcard in the room. When we arrived, they gave us a drink of our choice on the terrace and told us about Zermatt.   The staff was amazing. They promptly picked us up at the train station upon our arrival. We stayed there for seven days and where continually impressed! We had a few restaurants we wanted to eat at, but left the rest up to their recommendations. They made lunch and dinner reservations for us and every one was excellent! The break - Modern, comfortable and cozy hotel with Matterhorn views. A short walk from the center, fine for us as we preferred the quieter location. Make sure to book the complimentary transfer from the train station, the walk is a little uphill and can be slippery and difficult with luggage. The warm afternoon drinks on the patio was a perfect welcome. Saunas and hot tub were very relaxing after a day on the slopes. Good breakfast.   zeer attent vriendelijk personeel. hoewel gedateerd hotel toch erg schoon - Ontvangst was vriendelijk, onze gereserveerde kamer was door de vorige gasten in een dermate vuile staat achtergelaten dat men ons er NIET in kon plaatsen !We kregen een kamer in de nok van het hotem maar.... met uitzicht op de Matterhorn ! ruim (was voor 4 personen )

  It was an exceptionally nice stay at the hotel. Pierre, one of the owners himself received us at the station and dropped us back. The personal touch of the members of the owners' family makes a huge difference. (including great grandma).They really go out of the way to make guests feel comfortable.
