  The location and food quality - Great location, very central and near the station ,shops and restaurants. Rooms were of average comfort and cleanliness. Shared bathroom was very clean. Buffet breakfast was very good and served until 10am. The hotel restaurant served excellent menu at very reasonable prices.

  The place was fantastic! There was a great atmosphere, it was very clean and the staff were helpful. It was also a short walk to the city centre or you could take a bus that was 50m from the hostel. - The staffs were really nice, friendly and helpful.

  We stayed at CAMPEGGIO-OSTERIA RIPOSO one night, after travelling in the Verzasca Valley, and on the next day continued to Maggia Valley. This family run hostel located few bus stops from Locarno and not far from the bus station Caserma. The place is very clean and staff is very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the dorm, which despite of many... wat mensen zeggen » beds it felt roomy. Good value for the price (which is quite low for Switzerland). It's possible to buy a beer in the evening and a great coffee in - Loved the experience, remote yet close to the bus stop. We were the only guests so cannot comment on the noise, but the room and bathroom were spacious and clean and modern.

  The unique history and setting of the hotel made staying here an new and enjoyable experience for us. Bathrooms aren't available in the rooms, but the multiple shared bathrooms and separate shower rooms are very nice and were recently remodeled so this wasn't a problem for us. - Clean, very friendly lady at the reception, tasty breakfast (excelle... wat mensen zeggen » nt home-made jams). It was not busy, so we could use a private bathroom. The kitchen right next door is a nice touch. We could make a cup of tea any time we wanted.

  The surprise of the beautiful stunning view down onto L. Lugano ! The peace and quiet of being within 5 minutes walk of the centre of the village. The 'goldilocks' size of the village ... not too big .. not too small .. just right ! - Great location, friendly staff and amazing views. Cannot wait to go back!

  We'd liked a lot the environment of the hotel/hostel, with the nice green area all around and a great breakfast. I have booked a room for two on the new area, which is really nice, new and cosy; and another bed only on the common area. On arrival they nicely suggested an extra bed on the room, which I accepted after checking the space (only a litt... wat mensen zeggen » le more expensive than the shared-room bed, but staying at the same room, with shower facilities). Breakfast is nice, although we have to pay extra. S - The old hotel was charming and picturesque. Beautiful grounds. We booked there at the beginning and end of our trip. Our second stay we were moved to the newer Park Continental hotel, which was newer and quite elegant. They also have an annex, which is not as nice, and we were moved there as the Montarina was full. The room was smaller with no frills, a definite downgrade. Still, the location is good, the staff very accomodating, and the value for the area is very good.

  We are really impressed by this hostel, great territory, clean rooms and tasty breakfast! I also think it is a good idea to separate girls and boys))) There is a kitchen where you could prepare a breakfast or else. I would definitely come back there! When I left, I looking for some help,they were so kind to help me freely! And the view of the hotel is great, even stay in the hotel is enough for a holiday!
