  Staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. Walking distance from the train station, right across from tourist information center, and walking distance to all of the sights of Lucerne. The breakfast at Monopol was great and was included with the room, which was a nice change from the other hotels billing me for everything I even thought ... wat mensen zeggen » about eating or drinking. I got a very good rate on my stay and the hotel room was clean and the hotel itself was very pleasant and had a lot of char - friendly and efficiently staff. Best location next to the main station. A few minutes to the old city. Breakfast is very good. Wide range of English television channel. Very quite room in spite of close to main road and station. Good supermarket nearby. Right opposite to Business School Of Luzern. Plenty of good restaurant nearby. Rooftop bar at the adjacent Monopol hotel is a must for cocktail (great view!). We plan to stay here again.

  The location is about 10 mins from Lucerne main train station, easily found. I stayed in a private three-bed room which was beond expectation. From the review I learnt that the 3-bed room will have one king-size bed and a single bed on top it so the third person will need to climb to sleep, but my room was quite large, with the single bed not hang... wat mensen zeggen » ing on top of the king-size bed. The bathroom was big enough, door was not transparent as reviewed previously and can be locked from inside. Bed sheet - It is really good value for money in Switzerland! Moreover it is not so far from main sightseenigs. The rooms have air conditions, tv and wifi. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Everything is the same as you can see from the hotel's pictures. Many people wrote that rooms were small and it's inconvenient. I think that for 1-3 nights it's ok. It is a place to spend nights because the rest of the time you will walk around this wonderful city - Luzern!

  We loved our room and our stay, especially the view over the foreshores and the lake. The reception staff were ever so helpful and keen to assist with any problems. They were vivacious, but at the same time very professional. The tour desk staff were also the same, pointing us in the right direction. The view of the lake is perfect. The rooms are luxurious. Make sure you sit at the Bar at night and have a drink. The Bar Manager is really very nice and a pleasure to talk to at the end of the day.

Overall, its worth staying there and value for money. - we first arrived at night and was blown away by the size of the apartment, very spacious and well-equipped, everything is very clean and neat. The next morning, we were surprised by the stunning view of the city & mountain from the apartment (at 28th level). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hoped we cld stay longer!

  The staff was very friendly .. I call them before I arrived by 2 hours to let them know about my expected arrival time and they were waiting for me even when I was late half an hour. The taxi took 24chf to take us from the train station to the apartment. You can use bus#20 it's easy to use and only 10 min ride from the station to the apartment. Also, there is a guide book for the apartment that describe everything. - Spacious for a family of 5. Stephanie from hit rental was waiting for us and oriented us. She was very helpful. Economical and child friendly with a small play area outside, TV with english channels and free wireless internet. Kitchenette was small but functional. Stephanie was helpful. Good location outside the town with nice views and close to bus station and a grocery store
