  The owners were wonderful.. We had experienced a travel related problem and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful in helping us resolve all our related problems. They were exceptional. the hotel is delightful, the rooms are small but well equipped and the breakfasts were wonderful. So we enquired before we went and there were no problem accessing to the hotel with the keys placed in counter. Breakfast was great. staff was helpful, room is clean. Very near city center. The street is quiet at night and we slept very well.

  The location was excellent: quiet, but close to the City. And the free tram card made travel everywhere easy. Basel's tram system is excellent. Tram stops in each direction (3 lines I think) just a short walk away. The little patio was cute, but the weather wasn't such that I could use it. Internet worked perfectly. Bed was comfortable. The location was so close to the centre and it was quiet. When you compare the prices for Switzerland the value for money was excellent. The facilities in the apartment were excellent.

( I didn't experience lunch or dinner)

  We were a family of 4 that stayed in the studio apartment. 1. Very easy to find, a 6 minute walk from Basel SBB train station. 2. Big room, big bathroom, loads of space, well equipped kitchen, nice balcony with a small table. 3. A nice big Co-op supermarket nearby. 4. Great value breakfast at CHF 5 (£3.5) per person 5. All in all, considering the price we paid, the - Space!!!! Loved the large room. Windows and balcony let in lots of light. Good sized bathroom. Easy to find. Lovely staff. Nice dining and kitchen area in hostel side-although we didnt use this it looked new and clean. Good fridge in our room.
