  My opinion may be biased as I think that I got the best room in the hotel: a spacious, nicely furnished, including an old stove, stylish corner-room with a small annex and with a wonderful view on the river. It was fascinating just to sit there and watch the traffic on the bridge in the night (better than tv!). The hotel is located close to the ce... wat mensen zeggen » ntre and in spite of busy streets around it was very quiet in the room. The building is rather peculiar as apparently it hosts both hotel's guests and - Having been appalled at the high prices and low standards in other hotels in Geneva this one was a big improvement though still expensive even by Swiss standards (but that’s Geneva!). It's 10 to 15 minutes walk from the station and there are trams and buses that you can use though it’s often as quick to walk. Breakfast here starts at 7.15 which seemed a bit late to me compared with elsewhere but staff were very helpful and will make up a breakfast tray if you need to leave earlier plus there is

  It's an Ibis, so you can usually guarantee that you'll be reasonably comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was very clean and comfortable, and a good size. (Got a Smart Deal with letsbookhotel.com). Compared to the general cost of hotels in Geneva it was a fair price (but nothing's cheap in Switzerland). Provided free public transportation passes for our entire stay. Free Wifi throughout the hotel.

  Recently opened hotel with reasonable prices. Spacious rooms. The third bed in the family room is incredibly comfortable. Both German and Swiss sockets on the wall. Nice bar. Good Wifi connection. A bus station not far away. Free traveler's transportation cards. Parking with elevator accessibly. An alluring scent in all areas. - a) The hotel... wat mensen zeggen » provided excellent value for money and provided a good base to visit Geneva. b) The offer of the free use of public transport was an added bonus. c) The staff came across as helpful and friendly. d) The availability of multi-national channels on the TV was a refreshing change.
