  the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests. there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too. the hotel is 5mins walking f... wat mensen zeggen » rom the Grindelwald train station. but make sure u arrive before 11am at night or there is no more train from interlaken to Grindelwald. the taxi will - We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything. As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin. Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly. Big bonus, it has an elevator.

  It is a great hotel with very efficient, friendly staff. The rooms are very well kept, the beds have crip linen, the bathrooms are spanking new. We really enjoyed every bit of our stay.   This is a lovely, family run hotel, typical of ski, hiking accommodation in this area. The Cabana is a not a large hotel and has a quiet atmosphere.The staff were very helpful and friendly, the South facing rooms have fabulous views of the Eiger and are clean, comfortable, with a spacious balcony. Staff were helpful and able to provide an iron/ironing board when requested.Ample parking. Within walking distance of town. Overall the best accommodation within our 6 week holiday.

The alpine views from the room was just amazing. This hotel is off the beaten track so dining options are limited to hotel restaurant which serves really good food.
