  Fantastic location! Next door to Royal Palace, plus Gamla Stan is sightseeing object itself, so you can easily kill a day or half-a-day just wandering there. It is a budget accommodation of course, but it perfectly satisfies your basic needs - rooms are clean and comfortable, showers are decent, well equipped kitchens and nice light breakfast. Guests of all types make a really fun mixture, hostel is busy but not too noisy. - The atmosphere was really calm and friendly, informal yet absolutely non-intruding, creating instant "at-home" feeling. I had a single room with an openable window facing a narrow old town street and one of the walls revealing historic building bricks. Cozy and simple.   Location was the main attraction for me towards this hostel. Located right in Old Town, you're right in the center of Stockholm. In addition, this is not a traditional hostel. While you do 'share a room' and the bathrooms with others, there's a huge room divided into smaller bedrooms for individual travelers, with glass walls and curtains and a s... wat mensen zeggen » pecial key code to get into your individual room. I guess I'd call it sort of a hotel/hostel hybrid. It's a neat place to stay, and in my opinion wort - This place felt so much like home from the very first moment I arrive with my sister. It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'.   Very friendly personnel. The room was exceptionally clean, absolutely amazing! Though the hotel resides in the ground floor, the room had really good ventilation, the air was always fresh, even with closed windows. The size of the room was quite small, but sufficient for those who plans to spend only nights in the hotel.   I appreciated verything ! I didn't try the shared bathroom but only the toilets since I slept my two first nights (3 nights in total) in a double-bed room, but absolutely everything was wonderful : - comfortable quite big beds with strong woody frames (no noise) - easy key system with card or magnetic "plastic coin" - big case for valuable belongi... wat mensen zeggen » ngs in the "multiple beds bedroom" - everything was modern : bathrooms, doors, furniture, kitchen, ... - big kitchen with lots of utensils for cookin - The kitchen is a very nice addition to the stay at Skanstulls. Since food is so expensive in Stockholm, the kitchen gives a nice break to buy food and cook it. There are 2 grocery stores across the street too, In the hostel is a lot of tourist info which was really nice. I had a late check in that I forgot to mention and I almost wasn't able to get into the hostel. I caught the staff member at the last minute as she was leaving and she was so kind about my mistake. She was a very helpful girl
