  The staff was very accommodating to our three young children. They loved the breakfast - great selection. Location was convenient to everything in the city. - The kids loved the pool, the table tennis, and the waffles for breakfast. Room was nice & comfortable.

  The hotel is located on the plaza in the middle of old town Kalmar where plenty of shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Because there is no A/C it can be a little noisy at night with the windows open but they provide ear plugs. Fans are provided as well. Eggs and bacon are outstanding, and cold buffet very complete. Great coffee, too - Oh where to begin!! This was the MOST AMAZING 2 night stay!!! The room was very charming, the staff was wonderful and helpful!! The breakfast was very very good. All around this a truly charming place to stay!! I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for charm, grace and character!!

  We were welcomed by the owner who was very friendly and we were upgraded to a very nice big luxurious room.Breakfast was very nice and the owner made us eggs and bacon even though she no longer had staff since the place had been sold. We ate outside on a terrace overlooking the lovely gardens. - Very nice and charming place!
