  Dit rustig gelegen hotel is een goede uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Prachtige kamers met veel sfeer, prima gastvrouw, die heel goed engels spreekt. - We arrived on Friday late night (around 1:30 am) , the owner was waited for us and make us feel like pleasure and convenience. During our all staying Miriam from the reception helped with very useful recommendations and great tips for places to visit and restaurants to eat. Beside the beauty of the simplify in this place and the tremendous people who manged it, one of the great advantage is it location, it's took us less than - The room was really spacious with a lovely view of the town and countryside. The lady on recpetion was wonderful. The whole place smelled great and there was a lovely communal sitting room. It was a great place for us to spend our first anniversary. Although we only stayed one night, it's in a great location for Bilboa airport and you could easily do a day trip to San Sebastian or into other countryside areas. We just found it really relaxing and a nice welcoming place to stay.

  Fantastic hotel and owners! The beautiful small hotel is laying between two amazing natural parks (better to have a car). The hotel is perfect for people who like to hike and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The view from the large and luxurious rooms is spectacular! Randa and Kepa (the owners) are wonderful people and they will do anything to make ... wat mensen zeggen » you feel at home. They also know a lot of the region, the history, the highlights and where to go. You can have a good breakfast and a delicious diner - This is my second time at the hotel and the owners were so lovely! I am vegetarian and they took care to prepare me special delicous vegetarian meals everyday! Kepa also showed me the vegetable patch this time. We were also invited to watch as he trimmed the sheep's coats!! The couple are really warm and welcoming. As always, the place is beautiful, a real gem :) Also renovations have been done so its bigger and nicer.

We had a flat tire while staying at the hotel and the staff was very cooperative about helping us get it changed and taking us to a tire repair shop to get us back on the road. THis was above and beyond the call of duty. My thanks to the receptionist and the technician.

  It was one of the best hotles I have stayed in, and I spend my life in hotels. I visit on average 40 hotels a year in my job. I loved the design and art work and the thematic ties with the amazing Guggenhein Museum and Fine Arts Museum, both of which are within such easy walking distance. The service was friendly but efficient, a rare mix.   Very friendly staff, staying up late to let us in on a late flight. Nice rooms, very clear and friendly, great decor in the restaurant. Family breakfast specially prepared by granny, with yummy cakes. It is a wonderful old family run Hotel. It's like staying in the family's home. They make you feel so welcome. Room was spacious and delightfully filled with antique furniture to match this old farmhouse. Close to station for 10 min trip into Bilbao. Perfect if you don't want to stay in a city centre. Breakfast great and gourmet evening meal a wonderful treat.

  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport, ... wat mensen zeggen » which costs about 25 euros. - This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the last night in Spain.
