  Lovely location right next to the Catheral in the old town. Hotel was a typical parador - a beautiful old building lovely turned into a hotel. We ate in the restaurant and it was excellent - I highly recommend the foie gras and the duck! - It was the first stop on our Pyrenees car tour. Not a typical stop for pilgrims on the Camino because of the price but so close to the old town and the Camino proper.   The receptionist was very professional and gave us a real welcome feeling! The room was very large and comfortable, with a hall, large bathroom, sitting area, french balcony. The beds and cushions were extremely good. - Lovely hotel with large comfortable rooms furnished in the Spanish style.   Ontvangst was goed en men sprak Engels, dit in tegenstelling tot bediening, wat soms wat lastig was. - Outstanding service from the staff. The hotel is very clean and apparently recently renovated. We requested a handicapped room for my dad once we arrived and the staff kindly accepted our last-minute request. The breakfast buffet in the terrac... wat mensen zeggen » e was the best we had during our 10 day road-trip in Spain. The hotel can arrange custom tours of the surrounding Rioja wineries, but they have to be arranged in advance. In any case, we got excellent recommendations for us to drive to. - First, we were greeted with the most warm welcome. The front desk staff are very helpful and eager to please. The room was large but the bathroom was on the small side. The room they allocated us had two twin beds that was a little too soft for our liking. They moved us to a room with a King bed that was really nice and comfy. Location is good for exploring the wine region.
