  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The room was absolutely comfortable-the best hotel w... wat mensen zeggen » e stayed at on our week-long trip. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

  The Hospederia was an old Hospital for Pilgrams and a monastery. It has been fixed up with rooms. The staff were helpful. The rooms clean as well as the bathhrooms. The breakfasts were routine buffet style and more than adequate. I had one meal ( lunch) in the dining room. They serve a Menu del Dia. Once again budget friendly , not a gourmet meal ... wat mensen zeggen » however service fast and friendly. It is close to the cathedral and having completed the Camino de Compestela it was a good place to unwind without ha - I liked everything! It's right beside the Cathedral. The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are basic but very clean. Breakfast was lovely, all staff were very helpful. The city is Santiago is beautiful, it's definitely a place I will go back to and would recommend it to everyone. There's such a good atmosphere there, everyone is relaxed and friendly.

Friendly staff--speak Spanish and French, some English.

  suzanne and adolfonzo could not have been friendlier . our stay was excellent. a very peaceful place.. only a short walk to an amazing view point of the canyon to the river sill. our evening meal, made especially for us by adolfonso was superb and easily the best we had in our 2 week tour of northen spain..all for 20 euros each including a bottle o... wat mensen zeggen » f wine !! felt like home ...top marks for value!!

  Room is fair size with closet, minifridge, desk, luggage rack. Bathroom a bit cramped. On a quiet street very near the city bus stop at Praza Galicia (bus #5 goes to the central bus terminal). Easy walk to lots of eating places and cathedral. Hotel has a lift. Gentleman at the front desk speaks fluent English but the other 2 ladies only limited En... wat mensen zeggen » glish. - The Hostel was easy to find and in a great location close to all the restuarants and bars, and a short walk to the Cathedral.The room, though small, was very clean and new and had everything needed. Strong wifi....a/c, comfortable bed and great shower. I would definitely stay there again.

  Everything about the hotel is lovely, excellent value for money and very clean. We had an amazing holiday and would like to return sometime soon to see the beautiful beach there again.

  Very friendly staff who made us feel comfortable. Excellent Gallego food cooked by the mum. Beautiful surroundings. Very convenient for those on the Camino Finisterre extension to Muxia. - Very friendly staff. The owner is a person who makes you feel home.
