The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. Excellent apartment in a perfect location just a half block from La Rambla. Apartment was very nice, clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed. Had a lift and seemed to be a safe neighborhood. Located on a quiet side street, but close to stores, restaurants, and the great La Boqueria market. The Metro is very close and really the apartments are in a great central location to get around Barcelona.
The staff was responsive and very helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt in #20.

Lovely location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, but in a small side
street so it is nice and quiet. The rooms are lovely with the exposed
wall and slate tiled bathrooms. Staff were really helpful and
recommended places to eat and go see, and generally very friendly and
attentive. Fantastic location near all the bars and restaurants, and
about 5-7 min walk to the food market, and tube (metro) station. We
didn't use the swimming pool as we went in March (still too cold)
but it did look tiny.

Mas Rabiol is a lovely old converted and extended farm dwelling in secluded countryside with small pool in large grounds. It is tastefully furnished and old worldly, there is a living room for guests and could be described as 'home from home'. The breakfast was very good. If you want to stay somewhere a little bit special and off the beaten track, then this is the place.
