  This is a stunning hotel in a stunning setting. Surrounded by mountains on three sides with far reaching views across the countryside. The food is always first class and sometimes exceptional; they produced imaginative alternatives for a non meat eater. The service is friendly, responsive and relaxed. We had high expectations of the hotel and they were exceeded in every respect. - Fantastic peaceful location tucked away in the foothills. A great get away from it all holiday destination. Rooms are really lovely. The only comment I would make is that the location wouldn't be suited to those less able to walk due the rustic nature of paths. Fantastic food. Will go back again without doubt.

  Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... wat mensen zeggen » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. One of the only hotels we saw with lots of space around the pool. Choice of pillows.   Great location, great view from the "sea view" room. Excellent food selection during both breakfast and especially dinner. Nice entertainment in the evenings. The room is of a decent size event for a 15 nights stay. Good a/c in the room. Very friendly staff, always smiling and eager to help. Nice pool area with great cocktails at the bar. The spa ... wat mensen zeggen » is quite nice for a relaxing massage or cosmetic treatments. - We were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean , well ran , friendly and one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The food was excellent and plenty of variety. The rooms were cleaned daily. Clean towels when needed. The hotel was not in a noisy location which was nice late evening if you want to enjoy an early night .

  In een woord geweldig. Recent gerenoveerd dus alles was supernieuw. Geweldige service van het personeel dat 24 uur per dag voor je klaar stond om je te voorzien van alles waar je maar om vroeg. Airconditioning systeem van de 22e eeuw. Slapen onder een light summer breeze, ongekend zelfs in vijf sterren hotels. Deze faciliteit krijgt van mij 6 sterr... wat mensen zeggen » en. Complimenten voor Rudolf en het team. - het appartement was mooi , goed bed , goeie service ..al wat we nodig hadden werd met de glimlach bezorgd ! vriendelijke medewerkers , heel lekker ontbijt , zelfs al kom je op de laatste 5 minuten ontbijten, alles word gebracht . rustige sfeer aan t zwembad.kortom , we keren terug.in t dze tijd van t jaar is het er super rustig.

  A very pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. We took the half board buffet option and the food was good, well prepared and with a variety of options. The pool we used was extremely clean, large, with free towels, nice happy hour offers from 16:30 to 17:30 and almost always deck chairs to spare - the kids loved it! Wi-fi was £3 per day in room... wat mensen zeggen » , but free and worked well in reception. I couldn't test the in room cable with my ipad but was told it worked well with Ethernet and laptop. Gym is - Probalby the best hotel in Mallorca! It's actually apartments so you can cook in there (all amenities available) and supermarket Eroski nearby. Very good value for money if booked in advance and not in the high season. Extremely clean, good sound isolation of rooms, good fitness facilities, sauna and indoor pool. We really liked the animators, quite professional and entertaining (arranged for quiz nights and local dances). Overall, totally recommended!

  Very modern hotel with large rooms and spacey balconies. Absolutely quiet location close to the beaches (150m). Very nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Indoor pool and gym also available, but we did not use it. Very good choices at breakfast and also for dinner. Since the quality of most restaurants in Cala Millor is not really convincing we r... wat mensen zeggen » ecommend strongly to book half pension for an incredibly small amount of money (7 eur!!!). At the time of our stay (end of April) the price- quality r - All the staff has been amazingly pleasant and making you feel welcome. The hotel is very well equipped and modern, as are the rooms. The food at breakfast and dinner is delicious with a large choice in a buffet style. Overall fantastic place!
