  We enjoyed our stay at Apartamentos El Galan. The apartments are in a beautiful location as they are right on the beach and have a lovely sea view. Although the rooms were a little 'tired' and the bed was small, the apartment was a very good value for the money.   The apartment is quite lovely. It is so well planned that we made notes of ideas to use in a possible remodel of a Spanish house we are considering. Wonderful location around the corner from the Cathedral. We were glad to see a previous review noting that it is necessary to call the owner when you arrive. Everything shops and restaurants is 2 minutes walk away. The apartment is beautifully decorated. I loved the yellow bathroom and it has a fantastic shower. Host was very helpful on parking and recommending restaurants.

  Superb location, very friendly even though we were the only ones there (mid-winter). Really enjoyed sitting by a real log fire. Room very well decorated and comfortable. The location is quiet but could hardly be nearer to the historic centre of Ubeda. Restaurants in easy walking distance. It was in a great location on the edge on the old city and walking distance to everything. The young couple running it were very welcoming and helpful.

  The couple that runs this place is so lovely and helpful. Even though they hardly spoke any English, they really tried to connect with me and my friend in English and even bought us breakfast (churros!) on our last day!! I would totally recommend this place as it is right smack in the city centre and a skip away from the Cathedral, Alcazar, Plaza ... wat mensen zeggen » de Espana and other sights. - The manager was incredibly friendly, and the evening was surprisingly quiet (the Pensión is located in Barrio de Santa Cruz, a VERY lively night location).

Tooth brush and tooth paste for each guest (you cannot find it even in 4* hotels). Good breakfast (full, not continental).   Het is een zeer knus eenvoudig maar zeer proper hotel met fijne bediening en vriendelijk personeel. Erg behulpzaam. En dat voor die prijs. Bus vlakbij en de Alhambra binnen loopafstand. Een perfect plekje.Ontbijtje voor 3 euro, waar vind je dat nog? Es muy sencillo pero muy limpio, acogedor hotel con buen servicio y personal amistoso. Muy útil. The hotel is on the road between the Alhambra and the city centre, but good bus service meant that wasn't a problem. - It's a simple, nice, family run 1 star hotel. It is a little bit far from the center, but next to the hotel is a "city tour bus" stop, and the following stop is at Alhambra. There is a free parking on the strret. Typical French breakfast: toast, jelly, juice and coffe.
